Auburn continues to impress 4-star OT Garett Bolles. He'll leave for home Sunday but the Tigers apparently have hit a homerun so far.

Tigers definitely are a top contender.

He said AU felt like home on his first visit (usually a good sign). He thought about committing but is holding off because of all the new offers he is getting. Keith definitely feels AU is the team to beat FWIW.

He has never been scheduled to but people close to AU think he will. He named a top 3 of AU, Rebs, & Zona St. He is close friends w/ Chandler Cox & that will be a factor in his decision. CC was not here this weekend as he was in Florida to graduate HS but the 2 will meet up soon.

Haven't been following recruiting very closely this year due to work and a baby. Are we doing a good job of addressing our needs so far? What's the general feeling on where this class is likely to end up? Most importantly, give me a player or two that will cause multiple melts by AU fans with the "he will Yeldon us" talk.

W/ so few commits it's hard to say any needs have been addressed fully yet. If we land #1 Juco OT Garett Bolles soon that will address a big need. The staff would still want 2 more OT's though. I just remembered Texas transfer OT Darius James. He was a 5* out of high school & will be eligible the same time as this class. W/ the new NCAA transfer rules & waiver he could play 3 years @ AU.

DT is a huge need. If we can get a guy like Antwuan & Michail Carter then we will have done reasonably well there.

Other 2 big needs are & CB & S. Given Boom & T-Rob's track record there I think they will hold off taking some guys while they work on elite talen there. We have 1 CB & the staff wants 3. They want 3 safeties as well. Don't expect Stephen Davis to stay in this class. The staff doesn't feel he is a fit for the new system.

Nate Craig already has caused those melts & 2017 5* OT Calvin Ashley will just because he's a 5* & its 21 months out for him.
