Not sure what you're implying, but Dragon Ball Z is without question the manliest cartoon of all time. People who grew up watching DBZ grow up to be something close to Ron Swanson.

are most of the usual posters on here even old enough to remember DBZ. Pretty sure it stopped airing in the states in 2003... that being said, I probably wouldn't enjoy the show much now. i doubt it stands the test of time

Oh it holds up. You can watch any episode online. They've also made 2 new movies in recent years that are both awesome. And they're making a new series called Dragon Ball Super. It's already airing in Japan and you can watch them online with subtitles. It'll be available in the US I think next year once it's dubbed

I'm 24, I think I started watching Dragon Ball Z on Toonami when it was in the Buu Saga. Then of course they would go back to the Cell, Freiza and Sayain Sagas. I also watched a lot of Dragon Ball but never really got into Dragon Ball GT.

I've seen all Dragon Ball Z episodes, most of Dragon Ball and hardly any of Dragon Ball GT. I've seen a couple movies, the one about Bardock and one about Broly (there's a couple, IIRC).
Worth the watch?

Yeah they're really good. I actually haven't seen many of the older movies. I own Tree of Might, but haven't seen the Brolly stuff, although I know his story. The new movies are definitely worth it.
Dragon Ball GT is crap and not worth watching. Akiro Toriyamo, the creator of the Dragon Ball manga and the anime had absolutely nothing to do with GT, that's why it's so bad. But he did make the new movies and the new series Dragon Ball Super. In the new series they act like the events of GT never even happened. They've told fans to basically pretend like GT happened in some alternate time line/ universe and that they have no affect on the rest of the DB universe

I think they're on YouTube. I watched the 1st episode but I've been waiting for them to get dubbed in English. I don't mind reading subtitles, but I can't stand the voices of the Japanese actors. Goku's voice is done by a woman and it just doesn't sound right to hear the badass savior of the universe with a high pitched female voice
