Sounds like he'd be open to AU judging by his quotes there.. But I have little faith Jacobs would swing for that hire. It might not "look good".
I for one am not concerned if we get a suspect coach in terms of NCAA issues, I mean what are they going to do, sanction the basketball program? It couldn't get much worse. It's worth the risk.

The good news is Barbee will be gone after this year (heck, maybe before). What a train wreck he's been.
If I had known he was going to be this bad — and I can't believe I'm about to say this — I would've rather have just kept Lebo.
The bad news is JJ is going to make another hire. I always cringe at that thought.

I just don't know who we can hire that can turn this mess around. God we suck so badly at basketball.

Bruce Pearl. We always pay top dollar to our coaches. We have a brand new facility. He could get back in the SEC. His show cause is over after this season, I believe, Bruce Pearl!!!!

What I actually remember is the bitching and moaning when JJ didn't get Barbee's signature on his contract FAST ENOUGH.

I was one of the ones that liked the Barbee hire. However, it doesn't take long to turn a basketball program around. It's evident that Barbee can get that done. Time for someone else to try. I'd love to have Pearl.
