Jay playing in state opponents might be the only thing I think he's ever done right LINK

I'd assume this is more on Gus than anything.

Glad to see it...if we are going to schedule FCS teams, rather we use in state schools so the money stays here.

I've been on the fire JJ bandwagon since 2009, but come on.
-Hired Bruce Pearl
-Built us a new basketball arena
-Hired Clint Myers
-Slowly bringing overall athletic facilities out of the 20th century
-football hires have brought us 2 SEC titles, 1 national title, and 1 Heisman
-guided us through one of the most thorough and high profile NCAA investigations ever. One that was a witch hunt where everybody not associated with Auburn wanted to see us go down, and he brought us through the other side unscathed.

Trust me, id get rid of him today for a real AD, but I still give credit where it's due.

I agree with Bowl. My only quam with JJ is his love for coaches with AU ties. I believe if an awesome coach like Gary Peterson wanted to come here he would be passed over by a mediocre coach that had ties to AU.

Auburn had a chance at Bobby Petrino and you see who Jay Jacobs hired...a coach that had more recent ties to Auburn.

Meanwhile, Louisville and Clemson will compete for the ACC title this year and Louisville has one of the best quarterbacks in college football, Lamar Jackson, who Auburn passed on.

Yea, luckily, after struggling the entire second half. I'm glad. Doesn't change the fact that he has more ability than all Auburn's quarterbacks combined. He would be a perfect fit.

That was his first pass of the season. We hung on....barely. But let's be real. That route he missed on is too fricking complicated for Gus.

I still don't get why anyone would want Petrino

Let's be real, Lamar Jackson was the reason Louisville was in that game. He played out of his mind that day after the interception

Don't know about his other games but claiming he wasn't good in that game is ridiculous

9/20 no touchdowns.

He did run well though.

do you think sean white played out of his mind against MSU?

because he had more yards than jackson did against us with a similar ypp average

Joey, this is beneath your typical fact checking.

Sean White played a full four quarters compared to Lamar Jackson's partial game. White lead no touchdown drives either.

Additionally,Auburn had an absurd 20 QB hurries and 4 sacks in the Louisville game. Lamar Jackson running for his life lead more TD drives in one half than SW did an entire game

These people think Lamar Jackson is some scrub. Dude absolutely lit up teams as a true freshman with a rebuilt offense that returned roughly nobody from the previous year. He's light years above anything Auburn will place on the field.
