Not sure if he's been keeping in shape, but I bet Duke's combine numbers are ridiculous.

I don't see it. He was never a great athlete. A possession receiver with good hands, and even that was shaky during his time at Auburn.

I'm betting the opposite. I'm betting his numbers are pretty pedestrian. I could see him having a good vert but that's about it. He was never the fastest or quickest guy. He just understood the WR position very well. When he cared he ran very good routes, blocked well, and knew how to find holes in defenses. All things that don't show up in the combine.

I'd be surprised if Duke ran better than a 4.6

I bet Barbers is going to be even worse.

Duke is going to be a Jarvis Landry type combine guy. Run a 4.6+, measure around 6'1 and have no redeeming athletic measurements

But his WR catching drills will be beautiful

That seems like a lot from a bad football team... Granted only one is a lock to get drafted... the others got some work to do.

Kris Frost, Cass McKinzy and Shon Coleman will all be drafted.

ETA: Assuming they all don't shite the bed at the combine

There is no guarantee km Avery Young or JJones. They need to show up while Coleman/Cass/Frost just need to not shite the bed

avery Young didn't have the greatest year and getting drafted will require a solid combine

JJones will need to have a good combine too

Jonathan Jones was projected in the 6th round before he improved his stock with an impressive Senior Bowl

After Avery Young declared he was rated the #14 OT and projected in the 4th or 5th round. He and Coleman were ranked two of the top 4 OTs in the SEC this season by PFF. He did have a good season, you just didn't notice because of how much the rest of the offense sucked.

Duke is also projected in the 6th round. He'll need a good combine and interviews though.

I can't see Duke putting up great combine numbers. He really doesn't do anything exceptionally as an athlete.

I would think he'd put up good bench press numbers. Nobody is expecting him to be fast.

As long as he isn't overweight and doesn't completely blow his workouts then he should still get taken 6th or 7th round based on his potential.

I mean, the staff here wanted him to lose weight for basically his entire tenure here and he never did. I'd hope that he's been training his arse off this whole time, but you're talking about a guy who is beyond delusional. Same guy who was apparently contemplating trying to enter the NFL draft out of JUCO .
