Just was thinking after watching us lose yet another SEC baseball series. Has the last 3 academic years been the wost ever for Auburn, especially in the big 3? We had a great football season in 13, but everything else has been a fricking turn sandwich. I think if it were not for 2013 football, it might be the worst 3 year stretch in the big 3 sports in SEC history. 
It seems like the only sport besides football that is good at the moment is softball. Basketball is on the way up too as long as Pearl stays. Even swimming is awful now. After that.....
But hey, we can crow about our equestrian team!

Last three? One of those years included us in the championship game with a sec title. We also got rid of our losing bball coach and hired a great.

Yes, last 3. I made the point that season kept the run from being the worst ever. I realize our basketball program is on the rise, and state such, but I am simply referring to on the field performance.

Auburns finished between 25-35 in the final directors cup standings the last three years... AU currently sits at 43, but should have a stein spring with top 10 softball and men's golf teams.
I realize the big 3 sports have sucked... but we've hired new coaches in all three over the last 3 years... and made some solid hires (at least in bball and football). I don't get the bitching, to be honest... unless you want to complain about golloway.

Auburn football went to the BCSNCG in 2013 and will once again be ranked in the top 15 to start 2015, Auburn basketball is on the rise due to Bruce Pearl and just went 3-1 in the SEC tourny, Auburn softball is 30-2 and ranked in the top 10, and Auburn baseball almost just took a series from defending champs Vandy (they have had a hard schedule to start the season so I'm a wait and see approach).

I dont like Golloway. I like Pearl and am going to be patient for a couple more years while he recruits.

Football- CWM should save the defense. If he can't do it then no one can, seriously. Gus wants to stay in Auburn and is willing to make changes that is needed unlike previous coaches.
Basketball- Barbee took over and managed to make the program worse. I am pretty sure that CBP can get the program on the right track. Depth hurt us significantly in SEC play. On the bright side, CBP's first season win total matched Barbee's best season win total.
Baseball- Program hasn't been strong for the past decade. Doesn't help that you are also trying to build one in the best conference or one of the best in baseball. GSG needs to show progress because his personality is not winning the hearts and minds at Auburn. I think he is a good coach but he is not the nicest person.

When compared to ITAT maybe. I like to think this board is more willing to call it fairly, meanwhile ITAT spends time shitting on Barrett Sallee for refusing to pick Auburn to win it all next season.
