It shouldn't even be a QB race after last Saturday. Just end it Gus and tell us he's the starter until he throws it backwards

Sean will only get better, he will get a lot of reps before the Arkansas game.

I don't really see why Gus would ever pull Sean White. Might as well plan for the future and let Sean accumulate some experience.
Even if Sean throws three interceptions, his three interceptions are going to look a lot better than JJ's three interceptions. I was relieved that Sean White's interception was thrown across his body and on the run because we can clean that up., JJ's however, were mostly all bullet passes from a clean pocket that went straight to the defenders chest.

That is exactly what you have to remember he started with basically a week getting first team reps. JJ looked like hell with first team reps since fall camp.

Did anyone else notice the velocity he had on his throws? The dude has a cannon, it was surprising being he's not a big QB.

Glad to see others start to take notice. This guy is going to be good. He's definitely not another Chris Todd.

The apparent hesitation of Gus to say this is Sean's offense to lose indicates to me that the coaches were truly surprised to see JJ's struggles persist unabated. Meaning, in the back of their minds they're still wondering what happened to the QB they've been waiting on.
They may have known he wasn't practicing well, but I think this lines up with the idea that they just didn't know how to handle it when he played so poorly. This may be obvious to some, but it goes back to the idea that the simplest explanations might be the most accurate. Between JSU and LSU, I think a lot of people were wondering whether or not there were really big underlying issues with coaches and/or the team we were not aware of yet. Someone posted some "inside info" indicating that it had more to do with the loss of Lawson and outright confusion about WTF JJ was doing.
Anyway, SW looked the part to me. Hopefully he'll continue to impress the staff. I like JJ and if he's got a high caliber QB in him I'd love to see it, but SW seems to be earning his shot and JJ can wait until he is needed.

We should just put Auburn basketball scrimmages on the jumbotron if our offense will look like a high school JV coach is doing the playcalling
