From a traveling stand point I'm not upset with this.. it allows me to get back to Gatlinburg and eat dinner.

I don't call 9 points a heavy favorite.

yea, I agree. There is still some disbelief in us out there. As there should be. Last year was a poke in the eye that takes a while to heal.

I really don't know how to pick the game. I feel pretty good that we are a better team and that we should win. But I am still nervous that we have not laid the perverbial egg this year other than the first quarter of the LSU game.

The team looks focused every week now. Last week we looked like shite in the second half but that is to be expected with that many replacements in there. I think Gus will be more focused than ever since we are going to Arkansas and his beef with Bert

This also means I have to wake up early to leave Gatlinburg.

We cancelled our trip. Circumstances have caused us to save a little more for our bowl game

Those circumstnaces being 7-1

I really thought we'd see a letdown Saturday night against FAU... but we came out and handled our business with ease. Granted, a lot of that had to do with the opponent... but I didn't expect a 1st half like that. Two years ago, we somewhat struggled with FAU.

I still don't think vegas has adjusted to Auburn yet, and that's why the spread is only -9 this week... AU is 6-2 ATS this season, but 5-0 in our last 5 games.

Yea, luckily I've got a buddy who has a house in Gatlinburg, so that won't cost anything

i was thinking earlier that we would go to a very shitty bowl and I may not even go. But I will go where ever we go now. Probably make a 3 day trip out of it so we have to save a little cash and not use up the baby sitting.

We have the place in Gatlinburg booked already. Plan to drive over and get tix before the game unless my buddy pulls through with some box seats.

I value the college venue experience more than a bowl that may wind up in a shitty city like Orlando or Tampa against a team I probably have no desire seeing in a stadium that is 70% full.

Since I go to every home game and at least one away game, i value spending New years in a hot climate like Florida

Agreed. The oddsmakers are still way undervaluing Auburn. We should be 14-17 point favorites
