We did it guys!
But really, I think a problem is that the images are made up of several smaller images. This is an intriguing concept but only works when you can stand really close to see each image. In our case, the images are too high up.

MOSAIC setups just wont work that high up. I like the idea but it has to be more ground level so you can get close and tell it isn't a shitty reprint.

Exactly what I think. In our case, it doesn't even look like a true mosaic. It looks like they just took several pictures, and then darkened areas accordingly to create the overall image.
If done correctly, darker mosaic images should be used where the image should be darker and vise versa.

If they allowed alcohol at JHS, they should build a deck that cantilevers off the back of the video board and to the sides so you could see the field. Anyone in the stadium could take an elevator from the concourse up there and have drinks and watch the game from either side of the board. You would have nice views off the back deck too.
For hot games they would have misters and cold games would have propane heaters up there.
I don't know what this bar would be called though.

Because the speakers will be facing away from the deck and bass turned off most of the time, the sound wouldn't be bad at all. It would probably be quieter than Sky Bar.
...or maybe we wait until they build a board on the other side and do it over there...assuming there won't be speakers on that side.

They need to add some sort of laser beams to the screen, so when the show the death stares from Boom and Gus it can be directed at someone

Why not call Tim Cook and sell the naming rights to Apple? Or Make it, "Tim Cook Videoboard Sponsored by Apple". At least that way we can get some kinda ROI on this boondoggle
