Cowbells are a tradition at Miss. St. Respecting their tradition would be the classy thing to do.

My thoughts exactly

Cow bells are bush league. Why would you want to that? Would you wear jorts and tank tops to FL? Orange and blue houndstooth and pull a few teeth at BDS? Piss balloons at LSU?

Leave the artifical noise makers to the fans who can't make noise without them.

I think it is douchey.

But I hate that they are allowed to ring those pieces of shite, so anything to piss them off would be ok with me.

And they can keep it all to themselves. I've always loved that Auburn had different and original traditions and ways to celebrate. Let our lil ag bros have their cowbells.

Nah. I'd rather just see the fans go in, cheer like hell, and walk out smiling after another win.

Or just save them until after the game, and ring the shite out of them while all the moo u fans file out.

I'm not for it, but rolling Toomer's doesn't impact the actual game as the cowbells (allegedly) do.

I'm a no on the cowbells. I would prefer 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing and a stingy D. Cowbells are a State thing and are allowed by SEC bc their stadium is funsize.

Those bells will be quiet by 4th quarter anyway so why would anyone want to carry it around.

There's a fundamental difference in rolling Toomer's and the cowbells. One provides (or attempts to provide) an on-field advantage while the other celebrates victory. My problem with it is that MSU fans undoubtedly do not follow the rules set in place to allow the cowbells.

The cowbells are stupid and trashy, but I'm all for a little rustling. Take them and ring them loud and hard after we win. Any other ringing, maybe while they have the ball, well shite happens.

I don't think it is a good idea as the visitor, great idea for all SEC teams when State comes to visit. Just to make them feel at home !

IDC either way, and not sure why anyone does. It will be quiet as Church in the 4th Qtr anyway.

I agree, and if MSU keeps winning for a couple seasons you better believe people will look at not allowing cowbells. No one cares about artificial noisemakers until you actually threaten to beat other teams' consistently.

That being said, I'd rather leave it to another fanbase to complain about. Let's just walk in, cheer, win, and leave. Let them have their tradition for as long as they can.
