That's about how I feel. I think Vegas has it right with us as a 3pt dog. Auburn blew out state in Mullen's first year on the plains but it's been pretty close most of the time. I think it will be a slobberknocker myself. The only solace I get from this game is that no matter the outcome, there is still a lot of football left to play. I think any bulldog fan not on SECr would take being 2-1 on our LSU, A&M, Aub run.

Methinks if we're going to get to 30 points, Jeremy Johnson's gonna have play significant snaps.

I think Gus should put JJ and NM out there at the same time. Get a first down and rush everyone to the line ready to hike it and then wait. Let NM look at the sideline for the call and JJ ready for the ball and then don't snap it, or snap it to JJ with NM not looking, or let NM rearrange everything. Just keep MSU in position for 15-20 seconds not knowing if its a pass or run.

FWIW comparing AU's O and how much more we score than oppenents have allowed with MSU's D and how much less they allow than opponents usually score plus doing the same for MSU's O versus our D gives a score of

Marshall throws for 400+

Nick Marshall threw for 339 last year after being on campus for only 7 weeks. Nick is a much better qb now than he was then and the same can be said for our wr group.

I'd be glad to win this one 24-21. A brutal game on the road in conference, with a W. I think it prepares the team for later road games. We still got OM, UGA and Bama in hostile territory.

MSU will line up in victory formation and Dak will unwittingly take a knee in the end zone giving Auburn the win and Marshall the Heisman.

As I said in the other thread, 38-28 Auburn, but that's contingent on Auburn playing their best game. MST is going to hit Auburn in the mouth - as long as we weather the initial emotional high that they'll be riding and stay poised we have as good a chance as any.

FWIW, 30% chance of rain in Starkghanistan at kick-off time per wunderground.com - pretty par for course for early-October in the deep South. I can only think that rain will hurt us on offense.

After a quick tallying up of how many experts picked Auburn versus Mississippi State, I'm changing my prediction to 26-13 AU. #science

Me too, but now doubt I'm nervous. This is more than likely the biggest game of the regular season for both teams. And I'll be sitting in a wedding ceremony during the fourth quarter
