I based this off Chizik earning 7.5 million from his buyout. We've paid him around 5 million already looking at Open Alabama. I based Barbee on 2.437 million Buyout. Ellis Johnson is based on making 850,000 a year.
I know it's not 7.1 million but that's what I came up with.

Of course that's a lot of money, but long term we're not that bad.

Nope. Seems like we are in really good shape actually.

Buyouts are the cost of making coaching changes. Ask Florida. We now wanted Muschamp and we had to pay dearly for that.
The AD still has to create a long term facilities plan, we need to streamline and evaluate the department personnel, we need more transparency into expenses.
JJ knows however that coaching changes is how he will be judged.

When this thread started at the end of the 2014 we owed fired coaches 7.1 million. Barbee and Ellis Johnson should get their last checks in June, I believe.
Pretty crazy that we're paying a Kentucky Basketball assistant coach $62,500/month. And a South Carolina Football Analyst $65,833/month. But it's almost over!
