Someone help me out with CBS/ESPN/etc. and how they tie in to this new network. Does CBS still get the #1 slot, ESPN #2, and SECN comes in an pulls the remainders?

Will be miserable... could play to AUs advantage bc we have better depth across the board (especially on defense). Ark's DL starters are solid, but they have zero quality depth.

Yes except weeks 1 and 2. Cbs still is contracted to not have SEC games even though they don't have the US Open anymore. There will be 1 or 2 weeks where SECN gets 1st choice to promote the network but other than that yes CBS still gets the 1 choice. There will also be a couple weeks SECN gets #2 over ESPN.

No your having to wait til then for ESPN to even give an offer to your cable company to cave in to. Other than the 3 outlets that have the SECN, only offers I have heard from ESPN are comcast and DirecTV and both those did not start til the last weak or 2.

As the article linked by Nola shows, it's all about leverage for ESPN and the SEC. The more people they can get to e-sign the petition to get SECN on getsecnetwork.com before they put offers out the more they can drive up the prices to providers and ultimately us the consumers.

Had them for 12 years. I had a total melt down with them a few years back and changed to Dish.

Honestly, I had the melt down of all melt downs in their local office here in Gainesville. I was probably about two seconds from being on the 6:00 news. Thankfully, my wife was on the spot and took me to my car to go home

i have never been that mad at any company or person in my entire life. For almost two years after, I would get advertisements from them in the main and I will Write "frick You" on the outside of the envelops and mail them back to them.
