Uhhh....I think you may be mis-remembering. The kid threw very, very few "shitty" passes.

The only shitty passes he threw were when he shouldn't have been on the field.

Can't throw a football when you can't plant off your back leg.

It's not like White was running it a ton and he still got hurt this year. So, I'm not sure how you're so convinced that you shouldn't be concerned.

Injuries happen. Even to a 6'6 250lbs QB.

Why does one injury make him injury prone? I'm not saying he won't get hurt again because you never know. I'm saying his size has really no bearing on whether he gets hurt again because he doesn't run all that much.

Drew Brees has survived in the NFL for a long time despite being almost the exact same size as White.

What a dumb remark. I don't think Sean is in the right offense to be doing the zone read but I guess that's just me.

Sean White ran more in the Miss State game than Bree's will all season. Try again.

I think he could work out quite well, but he absolutely should not run much. He just looks breakable to me. We have great running backs, let them do their job.

I am by no means an expert on offense, but I would think more screens could make up for the lack of the threat of the read option. Again, I am sure others can tell me if this is wrong or not.

You mean when he ran a whopping total of 7 times?

And that's pretty much double the carries he got in any other game.

But there's also Russell Wilson. Aaron Murray. Nick Marshall. All survived at this level at approximately his size

It was 11 times. Are you just making shite up now?
And Nick Marshall and Russel Wilson are obviously far more physically gifted than Sean at avoiding the big hit.
And he was too broke to run the latter part of the season... He looked like a train wreck just by rolling out against Georgia.

11 rushes includes 4 sacks. So 7 times. Sacks are counted as rushing attempts in college.

He hurt his knee.......his knee. A 5'8" 135 lber or a 7'5" 465 lber can hurt a knee playing football. That doesn't make him "injury prone". It wasn't like he got knocked the frick out. Players hurt their knee, making a cut, with nobody within 10 yards of them. Hell, some blow their knee completely out making a cut. That happens.

Again,
I never said an injury makes a person injury prone...

I'm guessing that you would have said the same thing about Jason Cambell his first couple of years. Every year is a new starting point. I'm not saying he is going to be the savior next year, but to dismiss what he did when healthy and as freshman is crazy.

That's what blows my mind about Sean and this dissing him. The kid has played in a handful of games. It's not like he can't hit the broad side of a barn. Kid showed some flashes. Will he be a next level QB? Very doubtful. Can he be a very good college QB? Sure.

He wasn't broke against SJSU (4 carries), Kentucky (6 carries), or Arkansas (3 carries).

Those numbers include sacks too. I can't find the number of sacks for those games.

And? He was actually hurt in the Arkansas game so you don't know how it limited him. And the injury affected his number of carries against Ole Miss, TAM and Bama, obviously...

I do not think anyone is really arguing this kid should run much.

I know I am in the minority, but if you do not need your qb to run, I do not think you should do it. It just seems like asking for extra injury.
