With Garner coaching and a change in scheme I wonder how our DTs will produce.
I don't think a guy like Whitaker were made for BVGs style of DLine play and can't imagine that Pelton coached him up.
Someone tell me the DLine alignment again. I remember thinking we were playing a 3 tech and a NT/1 tech now?

Him, Wallace, Mason, McCalebb, and Prosch were about the only ones who gave a shite at the end of last year. Looking forward to him having a good season.

In the 4-2-5, Johnson doesn't use a nose tackle and a 3-technique, or one-gap defensive tackle used by most 4-3 defenses.
"We want the two tackles to stay left and right," Johnson said. "We slide the front to get in our different looks."
With a sliding front, Auburn's defensive tackles may have to play over the center at times and in the gap on other plays, hence the necessity for players who can handle both roles.

Tired of hearing Whitaker talk in particular.
Less talking, more showing up on the field.
