Lol me too. We were parked next to the Johnsonville Brats truck...drinking beer/eating brats in the rain. Good times.

i was sitting in the end zone of the arkansas St. game when Cam broke free for his first long touchdown run coming right at me, i just remember thinking to myself Ive never seen anything not on wheels that large coming at me that fast..but after all it was Arky St. but by the Arkansas game i said to the guy beside me something i never thought i would say in my lifetime "he may be better than Bo" and i had the privilege of watching both at AU.

I knew watching him throw and then watching barret trotter throw the next series that Cam was going to be good. You could just see the talent gap.

Also that first Crazy run against Arky state. I thought man, we could be in for something special.

Damn. Doesn't seem that long ago that Cam was on the plains. Does seem like a lifetime ago for me personally as a lot has changed for me since in various ways.

To answer the question, I was at home (rather the townhouse I was living in in Houston, Texas) when I read it on the boards here.

I remember that Arky St game. At a wedding in hotel lobby and snuck into an employee computer to watch it on some sketchy arse website

Don't remember where I was but didn't really think he'd be as good as he was until the season started. After the Clemson game I knew for sure it was on.

lol - i remember coming back from that game and discussing how incredible he looked. There was a guy at our tailgate (a Miss St fan that was going to the vet school) that was calling BS on Cam winning the Heisman and said there was no way he was going to win it and no way we would win the NCG. I let him have it all year long.

That Blinn highlight tape though.

I saw the first play on that Blinn highlight tape where he ran right and cut all the way across the field for 85 yds....

I text my homeboy Ryan and said "We gonna win the SEC..."

I don't remember where I was when we signed him. I remember him being big and that's about all that stuck out to me after the spring game.

He had a ridiculous scramble early on in the Arkansas State game and I remember thinking how I've never seen a qb do that before.

I was in Tampa for the Outback bowl. I had followed his recruitment but hadn't seen where he'd committed yet (pre-twitter). They played his commitment over the Jumbotron in Raymond James and I turned to my then-girlfriend and said, "That's huge! He's the national championship winning Ju-Co QB. He's GOOD. Like, Heisman good."
