Guess having half a roster turnover every year is expected in college sports now.

This is stupid. Really makes me not care much.

I’m glad players are getting payed. But this current system and rules is bad.

Tre felt like a bright spot in NIL era, he was a guy Bruce really invested in despite his rating/ranking. In return, it seemed like Tre put the work in to earn it.

I really don’t care about Aden. It’s not sour grapes, but he’s a kid we can get most years and some of them just aren’t going to work out. Next guy up sort of deal. Tre feels different

The old transfer rules with NIL would have been fine. Or no NIL and transfer rules how we have them. Can’t have both. It makes things absurd.

Id love a multi year eligibility guy but that would be huge in terms of winning championships in ‘24-‘25

Seems like a good second option begin Pegues. He’s from the 2019 class so plenty of maturity there. Smaller guy 5’11 170 lbs.

40% FG
36% 3’s

Broome to Holloway

Is this satire or was it really said? If so, Neville next year will be a sight to see!

Def fake/satire. No way the Auburn basketball twitter account would post that in February.

It is funny as hell tho.

I'm positive that the Official AU Basketball Twitter/X wouldn't use the word "reportedly" if it happened nor would they end the tweet with "legend" or tag a random account as a source (pcockwoodstock) ( which I'm positive that account is fake cause real accounts are blue if tagged not white)

So that's definitely photoshopped

Not a fan of us going after this mark freeman kid. He tiny, coming off injury, and the flim looks iffy.

Was curious about the Freeman "injury". Here's the info:

Morehead State coach Preston Spradlin announced today that reigning Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year Mark Freeman is out for the season. A nagging wrist injury will cancel his season before it ever started.

Spradlin says Freeman injured the wrist during the offseason and it never fully recovered. Morehead’s training staff implemented a number of treatments that included significant periods of rest and at times the wrist improved.

After a recent set-back they conducted further tests and determined a procedure was necessary to correct his wrist damage and the recovery time will likely be more than four months.

Freeman, a fifth-year senior could return to Morehead next season due to a likely ‘medical’ redshirt. He previously played at Tennessee State, Illinois State and this would have been his second season with the Eagles. The covid-eligible season is available to the 5’11 guard.

Freeman averaged 15 points and 3.7 assists during Morehead’s championship season and has accumulated 1,275 career points and 444 assists. The Memphis native tallied 19 points in Morehead’s NIT upset win over Clemson.

The injury is the only concern I have. This likely the best case scenario we can hope for. Former OVC player of the year is a solid option for a guy you are likely hoping to get you 10 mins a game,

I agree, it will be hard to pickup a player that’s not going to get to get s ton of minutes.

Exactly. Honestly not sure what else you can ask for. Looks like another guy who likes big moments/big shots too.
