sounds like Mond knows Cam Akers as well. Mond will be taking on more of a recruiting role than Narcisse did. Mond is more of an "alpha-male" when it comes to that sort of thing.

Hopefully he'll pull some of the IMG boys along to AU.

If Auburn were to pull Jhamon Ausbon and Hezekiah Jones on top of what we pulled last class, my goodness we'd be in good shape at WR. I think Kodi takes more pride in the details than DC, show hopefully that shows up in the route running in the future.

I salivate thinking that we can run crisp routes.

It does help when you have a crop of almost all blue chip WRs.

I'll take consistently catching the ball first

Seriously though if we pulled a WR class of Jones, Ausbon & Martin to go with last year's class & we still can't consistently move the ball through the air then I will give up hope of ever having a decent passing game lol

Hoping we push ahead for Barrett this weekend. With RB situation not needing some real talent sooner rather than later we need to pull in a strong class

Well of course, it matters what you look like getting off the bus more so than whether you play well or not.

sounds like there is already a surprise 5 star visitor coming for BCW that we haven't expected. Keith says its a guy that he recently talked to and the kid didn't mention coming for BCW. My guess is Cam Akers makes a return trip with his parents again for it. With Roc gone we NEEEED a top tier RB in this class. I just don't think Alaric Williams is going to be a stud RB.

Alaric plays a lot like Roc. Very versatile and excellent hands. He is not RB1 material though.

sounds like Mond may not be committing as soon as we'd hoped

Could be a few weeks. tOSU is trying to get him to hold off until they get a better feel for Martell. However the AU staff still feels extremely confident he'll end up committing to us.

Is that KN's most recent update? Was hoping we could get him to pull trigger before BCW to get some momentum. Cheering hard for Martell to land at Ohio State if that's what makes the difference

How good of a runner is this guy?

Jeremy Johnson appeared to be a pretty good runner coming out of high-school.

Sorry to derail, but looking back at the fact that Jeremy Johnson actually has the tools to be a decent runner and looked pretty good at it on tape, but even in HS was on record as saying that he "could run, but preferred not to and would rather sit in the pocket and pass and only run when forced", should have thrown up a big red flag that the dude is a pussy and doesn't have the mental toughness to make it as an SEC QB.

On the other hand nobody expected anything of Sean White's running ability, but he showed a willingness to run when asked without being scared to take a hit.

That's why from now on when we ask "How good of a runner is this QB?" we should also ask "How willing is this QB to run and how tough is he?"

Bama sites reporting Ignont pushing back decision date. If TWill nails this visit then maybe, just maybe we can flip him back our way. Moultry really makes up for falling behind on him but I won't be complaining if we could get both

In the open field he's more of a glider, to me. Kind of like Kaep (but nowhere NEAR as fast). Mond is more of a Josh Dobbs as a runner. He's not shifty but he's athletic enough to make a guy miss here and there. I'd bet Mond runs a 4.7 or so.

I'm iffy on Ignont. I think he's got some upside but I don't think he's a top 50 guy like some sites had him. I'd take him, but also I'd like to find out why he was sent packing from IMG.
