Buggs, maybe Rice would be the only ones from that group that we recruited long enough for me to be bummed about missing. Some of those guys we've only been hearing about for several weeks.

I do like that we seem in on a thousand guys when we're basically just wrapping up the class at this point

Where's the confidence with MSU and Avery come from? Haven't really followed him that much but KN says Auburn or Louisville. Avery himself said Auburn and Louisville were his leaders less than a week ago.

Is it delusion? Legitimate? What?

Keith seems to think that AU has gotten tIred of the Martin recruitment.

Thinks Terry kid is better. He just has to qualify. If he does, our attention will pay off hopefully, because he will immediately become the #1 WR in GA. Kid is fast, tall, and can jump outof the gym. Has some incredible dunks in his basketball games.

Honestly I have no idea. Avery himself when asked point blank said AU/LOU only later after prompted by a MSST guy on Twitter did he clarify all 4 are in it. Honestly I think the Cardinals are our biggest threat but that relationship with McGriff wins out in the end

Are we actually going to try to attack the middle of the field?

KN with Monty Rice update last night. Says AU did not do in home Sunday not sure if UGA did. LSU 247 reporting LSU did. However not visiting might be good because KN says kid is very overwhelmed by it all and seems confused. No one certain where he lands but expects it's AU or UGA with LSU running third. He is keeping with UGA prediction only because he hasn't heard anything definitive either way. Apparently Rice reached out to a current AU commit to ask why he chose AU. My bet is he talked to Britt who came down to similar decision

Also am told that UGA nor Auburn were in-home with Monty Rice on Sunday. I think simply he is done with the process. I am going over to Alabama today to cover this for 247 and don’t have much of clue where he is going. I am going to go with UGA getting him, but this could either way. He took a full weekend visit to UGA. Spoke with a few sources and said he did not tip his cap either way. He did not take many pictures, he did not wear any of the UGA gear you get to for the weekend. He is very quiet, but that dude has a switch on the football field, I have seen it in person myself.

- Rusty Mansell from UGA 247

His profile page says should announce 11 CT but not 100% sure on that

Auburn coaches go in-home with Lowell Narcisse to end contact period (SECCountry)

quote:

Despite securing Stidham’s commitment, Malzahn still would like to add an incoming freshman quarterback to the class. Narcisse is option No. 1 at this time.

As an early enrollee, Narcisse’s decision will have to come soon. He has been committed to LSU since May 2, though Narcisse was once an Auburn commit for a five-month span. There is a growing level of confidence on Auburn’s end that a last-minute flip could happen.

Narcisse will finalize his decision near the beginning of the dead period.

Buggs is a big ole dude. I think he'll be solid, but he doesn't have crazy cat-like quickness or anything. Don't get me wrong, i'll always take another big DL like him....but i think it was the Rivals guys that went and watched him play and they left the game thinking that he wasn't in very good shape and appeared to be fairly lazy. Personally, I think Garner knows talent better than they do, but it was interesting to hear them say that (and this was a while back when Auburn felt like we were making progress).

When does Tariq Black announce? Are we sure that Michigan is the favorite? He has been retweeting a bunch of Auburn stuff the past couple days.

Oh so you saw where I said I thought he was lazy and out of shape? Oh wait, I DIDN'T say that......

And did you just mention what I thought about a JUNIOR in college???? Holy crap that is sad that you remember what I said specifically about him.
I do actually think Payne is an absolute stud though, now. I thought he might be their best DL going into the year until Allen morphed into a super beast.

The feeling has been 55/45 in Michigan's favor (numbers made up lol) but basically close with Wolverines slight lead. I do think landing Stidham could help. Would be huge pull

Also Narcisse!!! If Gus/Rhett pull off the Stidham/Narcisse combo while Aggies couldn't land both Mond/Stidham and LSU loses both Brennan/Narcisse this offseason is gonna be a lot of fun

How can that be anything but great for us? Narcisse probably welcomes the idea of resting those knees for a year or two and crafting his game.
