If Robinson jumps, he will be drafted. This board does not understand how the NFL works with tge dradt. They value athleticism to play the NFL game over everything else. JR certainly has that. Not sure I've ever seen a RB built like him, at 230lbs he looks thin. NFL has plenty of film to see his vision. In closing, Fire Rodney Garner.

Why would Robinson risk being benched again next year by Gus instead of making money?

If someone thinks JR won't get drafted, CJ Uzomah was a RD5 guy or w/e with no production. Robinson is more talented and produced when he had a shot. RD5-7 pays almost zero guaranteed money some team will take a risk on him

I hope he stays because he a legit RB talent. He could be a better Lendalw White to Kerryon's Reggie Bush style

For him personally, he is stupid not to go pro. If he makes a roster, he is financially better off than staying

Not even close to similar IMO. KJ is talented but no where near the level as Bush i\n college. Bush has more top end speed, wiggle, & better in space.

Robinson was on the bench because he was lazy. He finally decided to put in the work during the week and it has paid off for him. He's not gonna make a team unless his work ethic gets way better.

I disagree. Jovon will be back and should assume the starting role...that is if FG Gus doesnt play favorites and actually plays the best players. I rank the Rbs as JR, KJ, PB, RF then RT.

You (or no one else) have no fricking clue why Robinson didn't get carries early in the season... The fact some of our fans won't give the staff the benefit of the doubt on this is odd. To think people, who have millions of dollars at stake, would play "favorites" to their own detriment is just stupid.

This shite isn't x-box... just because player A had more talent doesn't automatically mean they should play over player B... there are dozens of variables that factor in.

The Gus plays favorites thing is bogus and I don't know why people continue to spout off about it.

Well said...

The ones that make this claim are the ones that suited for games and never played. They have been blaming it on favoritism ever since.

Probably because he plays favorites. Some players can fumble all they want and still play. Others fumble once and we don't see them again.

Who are you specifically talking about? As a whole, everyone's done a pretty good job of not fumbling.

I thought Lashlee's explanation was pretty good when he said Robinson does not block well in pass situations. We have no idea how banged up he was or how he was at practice. Sure he has talent, but that does not mean he is the best guy to be on the field at any given time.

I hope he comes back because I think next year he could be a break out star, but you cannot blame any running back for going to the NFL ASAP, they blink and their shelf life in the NFL is over half way over.

I mean how does he look? I see him listed as a dual threat but didn't see any highlight videos. Is he fast twitch or more like JJ?

Gus definitely plays favorites. Prime examples: Kodi Burns, Jonathan Wallace, JJ
