Rivals put up an article about K. Johnson, the RB from Madison Academy who should be a high 4*/5* depending on the service. Seems positive and he enjoyed visits to the IB and other things.

Background on him- His parents have some connection to FSU whether alumni/athletes or something. Point is, he grew up a FSU fan and has made that known.

Jones points out that Malik Miller (2016 RB) from MA is in his opinion a superior prospect and I have heard from a MA coach I know that Malik is as good and could end up better than Johnson

Rivals interview summed up-

According to his rivals interview, Pruitt was his lead recruiter which hurts FSU, what hurts them more is that they still have not contacted him since Pruitt left

Johnson seems to have liked Lane Kiffin to some degree and has demonstrated that he understands differences in the offenses of FSU, Alabama and Auburn.

He has no plans on a commitment but doesn't seem opposed to a summer commitment

Think some of the AU Staff was at his basketball game the other night. Curious as to what he thinks about our RB depth at this point.

He will have an interesting recruitment but my money is on FSU if they can back on the right track. I've heard from someone at Madison Academy and from Auburn independently say that KJ grew up a FSU fan and would go there if he is given the chance.

Per al.com:

2015 OL Tyler Carr says UGA recruiting him hardest and he will "probably make a commitment in the middle of his senior season."

On 2016 RB Malik Miller: "Every time I go down there, I get more comfortable," he said. "I feel like I could definitely see myself playing on that field at Jordan-Hare in the future. They will definitely be a top choice." Miller said he would likely make his choice after his junior season or right before his senior year.

Per AUC:

Hughes (Ga.) 2015 Top247 4* Composite DE D'Andre Walker says that Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson stopped by his school today.

Long way to go for these kids but thought I'd share.

I'd imagine it's a positive at this point. CAP and Grant will be Sr's, which will leave us with Barber, Roc, Pettway and maybe Ford all being most likely Soph or Jr's by the time he gets here. Pettway may end up moving to more of an HB position if he gains enough weight. I have to think he'll be pushing 240+ after a year in our weight program.

I don't know what FSU's will look like, but bama will be at least 4 deep in 2015.

Gus and Ellis are in Mobile today. Checked in on Tre Williams mom but I wonder if they're checking on any 2015 targets. Maybe checking on CB Jalen Thompson.

Boom.

Also per AUC, AU offers 2016 DT Derrick Brown. Look at the hand size and potential to add 30+lbs. LINK

Will be for sure 5* kid. This is why I don't want Rocker at UGA. GA is loaded with kids and with the way ATL is growing again, we will see even more talent in 2015+.

We should recruit Michigan St. QB commit for LB after he likely gets out of jail. He shows some ability to take people to the ground
