Not going to lie, I'd prefer him to get to 230 playthe star but instead of just LB/S he plays DE/LB/S and QB has zero idea what he is up to ever

I'm down. As long as he is pro-shooter sleeve, the sky is the limit for him

Hope we don't give up on Darious Slayton. Would of rather grabbed him
Don't think it's as much giving up on him as it is UGA making a strong push the last few months.

UGA guys are also saying Slayton is leaning towards playing WR, so them recruiting him as an ATH/WR works in their favor

John Burt got a couple crystal balls for Texas today.

I have no idea who we end up with at wr for this class. Hopefully Coates and Daquille have big years and we can snag a top tier wr late in this class because so far we've missed on all our top guys.

Any word on how Deondre Francois's visit went and which way he is leaning?

Visit went great. He's really torn on this decision. I think he even said he may not know until the morning of the 31st (The day he commits). I had a really good feeling about him, but now seeing how torn he is on the decision I think the hometown team will win out (fsu).

Some recruiting news from KN:

Richard Mcbryde is now our top LB target.

We are done in the secondary as long as Bridges stays committed. Bridges told AUC "it'll be work" to keep him comitted.

We want to take two DTs and two DEs. Staff feels Trent Thompson will comitt to UGA soon, but well still pursue him.

5* 2016 DT Julian Rochester now calls FSU his leader.

Ivey and Cox for sure visitng this weekend after Ivey attends Florida's "Friday Night Lights" camp on Friday.

Staff feels Francois and Burt are both tossups.

Outside of Nate Craig the other day recruiting news had kinda been a bummer the last couple of weeks. Maybe Ivey will commit this weekend and turn things back around.

Pretty long way off until the 2016 class signs.

He also named FSU his leader after he visited them last weekend. So I'd take that with a grain. Visit high and what not.

You doom and gloomers are out early this year.

fwiw on Rochester, when KN from AUC posted Rochester changing FSU to his leader last week, he thinks the next time he visits Auburn he changes his favorite back to us.

Maybe Im just a stick in the mud but I hate this statement.

If you want to come to AU, come to AU. If you don't, don't.

I loved Chiziks old line of "this place was made great way before you got here and it will be great long after."

Bridges was sold on the program which is why he committed. Nothing has chanaged so no, AU does not need to "work".

Bridges himself did not say that, it was an Ole Miss insider or Mod I believe.

KN also alluded to some "ties in state that will work hard to keep him" which seemed interesting. I think it will be a battle to the end for him. Having Smith, Williams, and Moncrief has gotta help us but is always tough to get Mississippi kids to leave the state

Holland has been at UF for 2 days now. Will stay all day tomorrow as well [FNL]. Looking like at least a 3 day visit for LB Jeff Holland .
