And that's to be expected given the head coaches' specialties.

I'm liking that the talent and coaching levels are evening out instead of the gulf becoming so large that Auburn couldn't catch up. Didn't think the program would come so far in such a short time.

So, I'll be the one to pose the question... How does it feel knowing we went toe-to-toe with Alabama for Jovon Robinson, after getting a late start due to NCAA troubles, and still whipped their arse? After everything positive he said about them, once Auburn entered the picture again, we immediately turned the table.

Of course, Signing Day is a long ways away...but Alabama is basically conceding him to Auburn now.

At this moment, it feels damn good.

Anybody who followed both Auburn and Alabama's spring games on Saturday probably thought that the Tigers had the better day. The Crimson Tide's offense looked sluggish, while Nick Marshall and Co. picked up right where they left off from last season's SEC Championship. But Nick Saban and the Tide won the much bigger battle on Saturday, and that's the recruiting battle.

Found this gem on the Bama board. So us being better on the field isn't as important as Bama getting some commits

Nice find.

I like the part where the guy, from the Alabama board, stated that Nick Saban really wants to flip Kerryon Johnson. Does that mean he never really wanted him until he committed to Auburn? WTF... If he wanted him so bad to start with, he should have been recruiting as hard as Auburn and Florida State. Either way, the guy has no credibility in my eyes, so we will see.

Recruiting battle? Didn't know we were going head to head on any of the kids they got commits from.

I wish we could say the same thing about Payne.

I’d sit tight with the Marquell Harrell decision. He hasn’t even spoken to Gus Malzahn today.

I'm still in shock over Ben Edwards.

Definitely one of my top targets along with KJ. I believe KJ stays at RB but the thought of him and Ben Edwards at Safety is nice

Good to know that Auburn still has some pull with OLinemen. Always a good thing.

One of the CB's for him to Auburn popped up after the tweet. Trying to get a freebie unless Gus turns him down.
