JJ needs to get things in order.
If he told Pearl all of these issues were resolved when hiring him, then damnit that needs to be the case.

Per BMatt Dunans has been cleared and will report Sunday and start classes the following week.
Purifoy is on track to report in August.
Cinmeon has lost 25 pounds since last season and is down to 262. Wants to lose 10-15 more.

This had me worried. There was talk of him moving up and enrolling mid year this past season so I was concerned when I found out he had issues and would have to delay a little bit.

Bryce Brown has been the standout of the new players already on campus.
Also the GA spot that is being discussed has now been filled by one Frankie Sullivan.
ETA: as mentioned above Bowers has really been working this offseason. Not only is he much slimmer and quicker but he is also shooting the ball much better and is hitting 78% of his FT's in practice.

I follow Bowers on Instagram, and based on a few of his posted images, he looks MUCH skinnier.
Apparently he and Tyler Harris are riding bikes this summer for exercise...pretty cool.

We'll see how much is mental then. I remember Aaron Gordon at UofArizona and his FT struggles. He was 49% FG and 36% 3PT shooter yet his FT was 42%
Supposedly he shot like 75%+ FT in practice but just had the jitters during games

I always thought at 6'5/6'6 and pudgy he was bigger than his listed 278

he just visited this weekend so I'm hoping this is just an emotional reaction. Hopefully he doesn't sign early because I have a feeling that once that Alabama boy sees a Lansing, MI winter he won't want to live there. Nothing to head bang about. We never led nor were in the top 3 for that matter. If he doesn't stick with Sparty it will be UK or Duke.
