Is anyone else annoyed with the media assuming our D has no chance to stop Bama's run game?
I think Dari on ESPNU said something like this,
"Missouri is the best matchup becuase of their defensive line, I don't think Alabama would be able to run it down their throats like they will against Auburn"
that blatant assumption and disrespect had me literally yelling frick you at the tv (something I normally don't do) but it seems to be an ubiquitous opinion. Perhaps I'm biased but I think given Alabama's non dominant performance against shittier D lines gives me confidence that AU can and will have success at stopping the run

Well in all honesty teams have been able to run it pretty good against us. Now if the same D that showed up in the first half of the UGA game, Bama will get stuffed. However, our DL and LB's will need to have the game of the season to make people eat crow.

We did pretty good shutting down Hill when we went back to the 4 man front.

I agree, but I am just saying overall we have allowed a lot of rushing yards. Our scoring D is what matters however.
I feel our defense can do what is needed to shut down Bama. I believe momentum and opportunity can make a lot of things happen. My point is if our boys can throw together a good 4 qtrs of defense, we can beat Bama. Also, I believe we will beat Bama by 7+.
