Barbee and Ryan Miller were both considered elite recruiters before they came to Auburn. They have not been allowed to recruit the way everyone else does and the same would happen with Pearl. Doesn't really matter anyway. Bruce Pearl would never consider coming to Auburn to coach basketball.

Willie Kouassi. Cedric McAfee. Jordan Price. Shaq Johnson. Varez Ward and K.T. Harrell as also came in as transfers. All were four-star players Barbee brought to Auburn.
Don't blame Barbee's ineptitude here on recruiting.

We are also less than a year removed from Lupah & Troopah. I think our compliance department can deal with some grey area recruiting

Should be a good chance, I think Pearl will have some better offers. Won't get a guy like Marshall. but

Major Lack of support from JJ in the AD.
A lot of promises by JJ weren't kept, the nuke option by AD on the Kamora kid hurt Auburn's perception as Barbee was told it wouldn't be a problem then it became a problem.
Barbee has a good hand in this as well, but Auburn is just damn hard to win at and when you don't help the guy you brought in get the job done it makes it even tougher. We are going to struggle a lot to find another coach if we replace Barbee.

If you say so. You might want to check and see who all recruited this dream team you listed or see all the big time programs that beat down their door trying to get them to transfer there when they left.

100%. I would love to see Pearl but I doubt it will happen.
I just don't understand why we are so bad. You only have 5 on the floor in basketball. It takes a fewer players to turn a bball team around than football.
How could we not have even 1 of the top 100 players in the country this year?

Bruce Pearl would be genius. I would trade 4-5 years of good basketball for a few years of Basketball probabtion.
