I'm excited to see him. It's the right time. Hell, I was ready 2 weeks ago.

First game against the Saints!

I think I read that Mariota basically quit the team. Pretty childlike for a multi millionaire who's spent a good time in the NFL.

I'm torn. I want Ridder to go insane and look amazing, yet, I'm kinda all in on the tank. Guess I'll be happy no matter what happens Sunday, so that's cool.

He took his ball and went home like a babyback bitch because he didn't play well enough to keep his starting job. The Falcons should do him a favor and take all of the stuff in his locker and put it in the parking lot. Saves him the trouble of having to go back in the football facilities.

Which is odd because 1) he's been benched before and 2) benched by Arthur Smith in Tenn before.

Maybe he does have a knee/leg issue but to just 'disappear' and not attend team functions is, childlike. I'm almost hoping that article is just fake news, like Dr Fauci.

Mistake for sure. I'm sure he regretted it almost immediately. If it's true.

I don’t think it’s true. He’s injured, had surgery yesterday and went on IR while the entire media is reporting he was benched. That said, I’m eager to see what Ridder can do. He was my favorite of the bad crop of draft QBs from the past draft. I didn’t want him in the 1st rd but excited to see us get him in the 3rd.

Who do we draft in the 1st? Stroud?

Ya I was hoping Ridder would have a good game but not at all.
I’m not sure there’s any real good QBs coming from this class, not for the nfl.

I’d say the top 2 are Stroud and Levis.

Na Bryce Young will go top 10 but he’s short.

Doesn’t even matter. Whoever they pick will be mediocre at best.

If history is indication, they'll draft another big, slow receiver.

I was so very disappointed in Ridder's showing yesterday. He's been practicing for months and to put on that showing was bad. I can cut him some slack for playing in NO, however, that crowd wasn't amped like normal as NO is also having a shitty year.

If he could throw, even remotely, we win that game. Hell, we lost by 3 and threw a total of 13 completions for 97 yards. A whopping 3.7 average.
It's obvious that Drake London is our only WR worth a damn and he's a rookie.

London's YAC ability was supposed to be his calling card since he can't get open downfield. He had better clean up that fumble problem. Yesterday was the second time a late London fumble has cost the Falcons a chance to tie or win a game.

Yeah that pick has aged like milk to this point. I didn't like it when they made the pick and don't like it now. I'm rooting for London and he seems like a good dude who works hard but I don't like WRs whose biggest selling point in college is their contested catch rate, because it means they can't get open. That's especially bad against the Pac 12. Also, you aren't in the Pac 12 anymore. Trying to run through every NFL DB will shorten his career and lead to more horrid fumbles like the ones yesterday and against the Chargers when Khalil Mack stole his manhood on the goal line.

This offense is predictably slow and plodding, and there is not a receiver on the roster who consistently scares a defense more than 20 yards downfield. Two years of data isn't a great sample size, but at this point, it's enough for me to have serious concerns regarding Fontenot's drafting. They'll do some stupid shite like take Michael Mayer in the first round because they're in love with big, slow receivers who can't get open.
