Did I hear it right that Mac Jones was basically absorbing offensive information after one siting and then explaining it to the offense?
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I thought I had heard Lawrence second and third read scores were trash?

I've never once heard that about him. Everything I've seen says the complete opposite. But maybe you did hear it from a source I haven't seen/read.

Mac Jones is deadly accurate and his movement in the pocket is uncanny. I don't want a scrambler. I want a QB who can take one step in the right direction to avoid rushers and get off an accurate pass. Jones isn't flashy so he is easily overlooked.
The damned Patriots have learned a bit about QBs and draft positions. Scam Newton was bought for next to nothing in what amounted to a COVID throw away year. So many Patriots opted out that a bad season was guaranteed. Signing and playing Scam ensured even more losses and a better draft position.

Well NFL scouts disagree. Maybe he’ll be an awesome QB, but I don’t see how you can be so mad about Pitts.

As a Bucs fan that somewhat follows Atlanta (lived there for a year and for whatever reason UF players always end up there). So far Fontenot is a dream GM. My philosophy has always been to go best player available in the draft and then fulfill needs with free agency. And he is doing exactly that.
