He has a history life changing moment and only pitched 108 pitches. This is absurbd.

Remember when Snit let Sean Newcomb chase a no hitter vs the Dodgers in 2018? He got up to >140 pitches and wasn't right the rest of the season. No hitters are cool and all, but they aren't worth risking messing up a starter who you need 180 innings from. The Braves hope to need Fried for stuff far more important than a no hitter in May.

And yes, I know Nolan Ryan once threw 235 pitches in a game. Guys aren't built for that anymore. They don't train for that.
