Finally get to watch em here in Saints land. Here's to hoping they can just ground and pound all night and get the W. 1st place Falcons sounds nice, even if only for a few days.
I don't give a crap, they've already exceeded my expectations this season half way through it.

It's time to move on from Mariota. He's complete trash.

I don't know what happened to him. He was looking pretty good earlier in the season.

He’s totally and completely dependent on an effective running game. If we have that, he’s ok. If not, he’s totally lost.

I was ready to jump ship when he lost us the NO game by fumbling the ball going into the endzone.
Then he looked decent for a bit but now he's back to his trash ways.
Let's take our lumps with the rookie and if we lose every remaining game, at least we get a good pick. Best case scenario, Ridder takes us to the playoffs.
But going 9-8 or 8-9 with Mariota is just going to set the franchise back.

So what do you think we do? Yep. this.
I think after the TNF loss to CAR, they should name Ridder the starter especially after a "long" week. I don't think they do though so that tells me Ridder must be garbage in practices. Mariota is not good but can be a game manager IF the run game is working.
We were winning games earlier cause the D could get a timely stop. Now the secondary all died and are the walking dead so we can no longer count on them for stops. This is leading to more L's.

We're also seeing the stupidity of drafting Drake London over Jordan Davis. They drafted another WR who can't get open while passing on the unicorn who could have saved this franchise's problem stopping the run by himself.

I don't hate the London pick. Usually rookie WRs struggle a bit their 1st season. I think he'll develop to good player.
We definitely need to load up on OLine and DLine this future draft. Feel like I've said that for 20years now though.

Guys like London come around every year. Guys like Davis, a one man run defense with the athleticism of a linebacker, come around very, very rarely.

Time to let Ridder lead the O.

I hate to ask but as fans (I know the players and coaches don't) but is it bad to cheer for L's now and tanking?
Looks like currently we have the 11th pick (as of 12/9). Only a couple more L's away from a top 5 pick.

I don’t much care at this point.
QB class is weak and they can get a blocking tight end or a mediocre WR later in the round.
