Is there anywhere near Truist to stay within walking distance?

Picked up some tickets for the Braves-Mets in June. Looking at maybe staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton at the Galleria. Says its a 1.2 mile walk, but looks like you might have to walk on a freeway?

Just wondering what the best option is. We have a parking pass, but would prefer not to drive so I can have a few drinks

I would call and ask. I think there may be a walking overpass from that area.
Bunch of hotels along Circle 75 though.

Yes. There are quite a few hotels around the Battery that are walking distance.

There is the Omni hotel right outside the outfield, but it is going to be pricey. There is also a DoubleTree at the Battery.

I put the Embassy Suites and Truist in Google Maps directions and it says it is a 23 minute walk. You would have to walk around/through the parking lots at the Galleria or through the mall, but there is a pedestrian walkway at the northwest corner of the mall that takes you across 285 and puts you out on Circle 75 Parkway by the Thyssenkrupp building. You go about half a block, cross over and you are on Heritage Court, and that takes you right into the Battery by Wahlburgers.

The Renaiisance Waverly Hotel (a Marriott) is where the walking bridge over the interstate starts. This leads directly to the stadium. Best place to stay.

I've stayed at the EVEN Hotel at Cobb Galleria and walked. Not too bad, just don't get hammered or the walk back won't be fun.

Unfortunately they’re all apartments. I was in the market to buy a condo back in 2017 and would’ve done so had they existed at the Battery.

Anyone stayed at the Omni? I can only dream of staying there. I bet they have a good breakfast.

Nothing stopping a renter from Airbnb'ing. Certainly not a down payment.
