Anyone know a place in DFW that carries ACC network? Got a buddy in town who's a GT grad and I don't get that channel. I assume there's no GT bars here

Good luck getting a bar to show a Tech game to a random single fan in an area like that, and I say that as a Tech guy.
I lucked out when I worked in Wisconsin for five months right out of school and found a bar that agreed to put the games on for me, but that was only if Wisconsin didn't have a game at the same time.
The game will probably be on Watch ESPN. The ACC network is not really a channel. It broadcasts games on affiliate channels. I think in 2019 the "real" ACC Network goes live.

Well I was going to point you to the NTX GT club but the site looks like it dried up in 2012.
Oh well, you can tell how much I keep up.
There is a bar for every school you can think of, I will look a couple other places.

Well shite, there used to be but there must not be one any more, isn't listed on the alumni site either.

That's weird, I guess there were only a few people who really cared about it and they stopped or died or moved.
I think the game is at 11 so one of the zillion TV places will give you a screen I am sure. Just avoid the bars for Arkansas and A&M because they are playing then

FYI I flew into Tokyo earlier today and can't sleep. I pulled up the acc network website and the stream is perfect for me in my hotel. I happened to bring g an HDMI cable and have it on the tv at 2 AM. Not a bad way to fight jet lag and body clock issues. Found a nearby grocery store and got a decent bottle of Japanese single malt. Good to go.
