Very working-class. Outside of Glavine and Justice, that was a pretty average bunch of guys, who managed to put together one of the most memorable seasons in franchise history.

Don't know about that.

Smoltz was as good as any SP in MLB the 2nd half of the season,Avery went 18-8,Pendelton was MVP,Gant had 30/30/ 100 RBI's and Nixon was a very good in CF along with a solid leadoff hitter.

There were more talented teams in the Cox era but this one was pretty solid.Played great fundamental baseball and had outstanding leadership with TP.

It’s odd that it seems the past 3 years teams are better than 1995’s.

These lineups are probably slightly better (although Chipper is the best hitter of the two teams combined) but the 90s pitching staffs blow this group away.

Meh,it's a completely different game now.

Different ballparks,different strategy and different athletes and almost every decision is motivated by analytics.
