Yes, he should have done more with those great recruiting classes, but he has a nice record overall and is a great man.

I was shocked that GA finally did it.

Lots of craziness in the sec right now. I think REM put it best:

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

I think Georgia accepted that he wouldn't win the big games and decided to make the change. I think he is a good coach and even better person.

This is one of those that I can't believe they actually did it yet I can't believe it took so long for them to.

Other than having Herschel walker when has georgia ever won the big game. For such a prestigious program their achievements are rather lackluster outside the herschel years.

Unless they have a home run locked up, they will regret this imo.

I don't see any home runs available imo.

It's time for Arkansas to set a new precedent in CFB and pony up about $3-4 mil per year and hire Richt as recruiting coordinator. $3 million is a drop in the bucket annually to the UofA and most schools for that matter, don't know why this hasn't become a thing already.

Violated ncaa rules by supplementing his underpaid staff from his own pocket according to what I read. Pretty cool if so. Looks like administration was looking for some bs reason to finally get rid of him

I guess it's all in how you look at it. We've won plenty of big games.
