Why aren't we more creative with Henry?

I understand that he is getting doubled in most of the games, but why don't we try splitting him out on an island or move him around in the slot?
It seems to me that he has become a glorified blocker.

He should have 3 more TD catches this year. His routes near the end zone haven't been the problem.

I don't think we necessarily need to get more creative with him, as I think we're currently using him to open up other players (Drew Morgan) in the passing game. Some of these other players may actually have more explosive YAC potential than HH as well.
That being said, Brandon needs to be able to hit him in the end zone, as he's repeatedly come open there. I guess my point is that I don't think it's a problem with scheme but with execution (though I'm a BA fan).

He's been the most targeted receiver, so far, this season.

We should probably teach him that holding is illegal first.
Although he was better against TN.

I checked his stats and I was surprised that he has 20 receptions. I thought he had way less. Not sure about his targets but he is only 3 catches behind Drew Morgan on the team.

That chart explains 100% why anyone who thinks Hatcher has NFL potential smokes a Gibraltar sized crack rock daily.

Of our WRs, Morgan has the best shot to make it in a Wes Welker/ Beasley type role.
Dude NEVER drops the ball and always finds a way to get open.

You could say the same about Sprinkle. Dude drops everything it seems like. Hopefully one of the freshmen will break through next year because I'm not sure Sprinkle is going to be THE guy.

I'm giving sprinkle a Brandon Allen No Nuts exemption

There were a lot of desperation throws to Hatcher during the Toledo game. I know we looked for him like 3 times on that last drive alone.
I almost wonder if BA isn't taught to miss high if he misses when he looks for Henry in the end zone just to avoid interceptions. I guess that would be better than trying to squeeze it into traffic between two defenders.

QB's are taught to throw the ball in that situation at the height of the crossbar on the goal post. It seems he gets the yips and sails every damn one of them.
