Every single person on this board is disagreeing with you and you're melting down. I don't feel picked on at all.

A defensive scheme that gave up 17 unanswered is why we lost.

A punt return TD, another returned to the 30, a QB that couldn't throw further than 10 yards downfield against a defense that was putting 9 in the box is what lost us the Rutgers game. Our defense was lights out until the 4th quarter that game.

not justifying his statement, just stating what I thought his point was.

Come on man.....we were up 24-7

Nothing on offense is why we lost that game....nothing

We ran the ball to keep the clock moving...then we decide to call 4 straight pass plays when we were tied and then down by 4.

Derby played a game that day, good enough to win. Allen certainly, from what he has shown this season, would not have led us to a comeback win that day, so why blast Derby?

How am I pumping sunshine? All I have argued is that Allen is better than Derby. I'm not pumping sunshine this season and I'm not jumping off a cliff. I expected some wtf moments this year, and I am a little disappointed by the fragile mental state of this team, but I am taking this year for what it is. A coaching staff that demands physical play and discipline coaching a team that has never been physical and has never had discipline. The best players we have are freshman and sophomores. I would like to see if we improve going forward with them.

If we fire this coaching staff after one year we would be blacklisted by any respectable coach and our program would be fricked for many years to come. We have a roster full of low IQ football player that are also pussies. We'll have to recruit our way out of it.

So that's offense or defense?

Special teams have both offense and defense.

This defense and this team is bad, period. HDN partII is only making it worse.

I think some people need something to blame the Rutgers loss on....and Derby is that...just someone to blame.

Had you told me before that game he goes 16/24 for 140....I would have said we win by at least 10 points.

After seeing Allen this entire year, I'm not sure we win that game even with him.

Not calling for HDNpartII's head yet, and I think you got lumped in with the Sunshine Pumper part, wasn't directed at you.

Well I'm going to go eat some cereal, because I'm a grown arse man, and fart around the house. I much prefer these arguments over NWA vs the rest of Arkansas, so keep up the good fight guys.

Don't worry, we would have lost by 40 in front of 35k in Little Rock tonight

We had 283 yards that game. We needed a long pass from our punter, a TD pass from a RB, and a pick 6 to keep us alive. We had 2 sustained drives that whole game, a 56 yard drive that included a 24 yard fake punt. Derby was 1/3 on that drive for 18 yards.

The other was the first drive of the 3rd quarter. Derby was 2/2 for 33 yards on that drive. If I remember, that was the one drive where I felt like he made some good throws. We also had big runs from Collins and Hatcher on that drive.

Other than those 2 drives our longest drive was 5 plays for 26 yards. Our only other offensive score was a pass by Williams on the first play. But with the way our defense played for most of the game, our offense was the reason that there was a chance for them to come back.

It certainly wasn't the defensive scheme that he blamed it on. The defense gave up 2 bad scoring drives, one was the 98 yard drive in the 4th quarter. Our defense did all they could to keep us in the game, hell they gave up 54 rushing yards on 36 attempts. 14 of their points came on a punt return td and a drive that started on our 30. At that point, the defense was gassed. Also the defense scored one of our touchdowns.
