Yes we lost to Minnesota. Minnesota is currently top 15 in RPI and it was our first road game with a bunch of new players. Our chemistry is starting to improve, as we saw last night.
We have a win against Fort Wayne who beat Indiana.
We have a win against UTA who just beat #21 Texas on the road by 11.
Our current RPI is 21.
We have looked that good in other games. We trailed UTA by 17 and came back and won. That UTA win is looking pretty good right now.
If you ONLY watched the Minnesota game, which I'm beginning to believe, you might think we suck. But we're 5-1 right now and we're starting to look better. To say we suck is just being ignorant.

To be fair, he never said we sucked. He brought some legit criticism and you had some good responses. Lets be clear though, most understand we don't suck. Some people just expected more in that Minnesota game. I'm still hopeful that this can be a tourny team but I don't believe we are really going to get closer to seeing how good they are until we go on the road to play Texas in a couple of weeks. We have normally been very good at home under Anderson. I'm more concerned with how we start playing on the road as we start to gear up for SEC play.

Yes a 13 point win over a 1-7 team. I'm not sure what the win margin has to do with some glaring problems in the current team.
I also noticed you that like to call out the posters that don't show up to bitch after a win but you were no where to be found after the Minnesota game. I could have used your help in that thread.

Clemson is also top 15 in RPI right now. Being top 15 in RPI right now doesn't mean a whole lot 7 games in

No its not, it is in the 30's. Which again, doesn't mean much considering Arkansas has only played 5 games.

It looks the same. Texas is the one who isn't looking so good. No Arkansas team should fall behind by 17 at home to University of Texas-Arlington.

Don't roll in the mud with Stonehog buddy. Even if you prove your point he'll just suddenly claim he saw it that way all along. Trust me, I know its tempting and I've done it myself. Its best to leave it alone though.
Its a win/win if you ignore him. If we improve then he can boast he was right all along while we enjoy Razorback victories. If we don't then you weren't drinking the kool aid.

Everything sure is black and white with you... Always. I don't think anyone is ever happy when we lose, so maybe stop with that nonsense.
People have a right to be worried regardless of outcome. The system (!) is either conductive to winning when it matters, or it isn't. We can win a game against SFA and still find areas that are troubling. I didn't get to watch, but I'm guessing we are still double teaming 30 feet from the basket with regularity. It "works" when teams miss their open shots. But they are still giving up way too many good looks.
Mike just always seems allergic to change (especially in half court defense). That doesn't make me ungrateful for the wins. It just means that I see things that will make it harder for us to win more difficult games.

And you can bet your balls that certain posters here are glad when we lose because it gives them a chance to say I told you so. Notice how when we win a game, nobody talks about it, but when we lose one game everybody suddenly comes out of the woodworks. We're 5-1 and you have posters saying we suck. No honest, sane person could watch that game last night and say we looked bad.

I hear what you're saying, just that it doesn't make sense for certain posters to constantly whine about how bad the team is when we're 5-1. It takes a total lack of awareness and objectivity to say we have a bad team when we've won 5 out of 6 games.
Plus the product on the court is phenomenally better than last year due to the talent influx. If you watched the game last night and your conclusion was that this team sucks, you're either lying about watching the game or you're mentally ill.

Why wouldn't any of us be critical of a team that has yet to look very good this season, coming off of a .500 overall season?
You lecture others on talking about flaws with this team, yet you do the same thing on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Its the same thing as all of us being critical of our football teams defense. Yes, we may have won the game, but the defense still sucks.
Whatever it is you're trying to prove, isn't working.

It happens in all our sports but I understand. People acted like the season was over because of the Minnesota loss. I can get the frustration though because it wasn't close on the road. We have had too many moments on the road like that since Mike has been here.

I agree but we are going to have to continue to make some serious improvements if we are to doing anything special this year. I think Mike is a good coach but is a little to stubborn at times with his scheme.
