I met the dude and his whole wedding party this summer. Great guy, extremely down to earth and friendly and religious...

Weird, I wish I knew if he was a scapegoat or what actually happened. I was shocked this morning to see that Hart had let him go.

What say ye?

It's getting pretty ugly for him with what he did at USM and the follow up deleting emails after the NCAA began their investigation to try and hide stuff from them.

UT did what they had to do as he is going to get hammered.

UT will be shite for quite awhile though, too much turnover now.

i have sympathy for him for some reason- usually i'm like screw them all when it has anything to do with another team. their ad seems like the true dimwit in the whole thing, imo.

I will admit that I haven't followed his scandal so I don't have an opinion on that. I was impressed with how his team played this year. They were scrappy and I figured it was only a matter of time before Tennessee became scary again. Just my opinion though. I don't care at all about UT or their coaching situation, but I think Tyndall is a solid coach that may or may not be a snake in the grass .

friendly, christian and down to earth do not equate to honest.

I think UT turned a blind eye hoping for the best and it is biting them in the arse now.

I know plenty of "friendly, down to earth, Christian" folks in public who lie, cheat, steal, and will stab anyone in the back who impedes their own personal gain...

lol, naïve it not my forte, for sure... I know some of the same.

But I also know several atheistic scumbag douchebags who would screw their own sisters.

There are sucky people who claim many things.

But I was simply asking if folks knew what he did so bad to be fired from tenner. Weather he know about this or not, etc.

Sometimes good people get caught in a web of deceit, IDK, but I do know it is very interesting.

Turning a blind eye doesn't make the sin OK.

Its in there somewhere between slavery being OK and Sodomy being OK but then not...

Just going by what was said on the rant (so take it with a whole salt block) he had gotten in trouble with the NCAA at Morehead state before even going to USM. (For what I have no idea) Then at USM the players were 'paid' - they took out loans and then boosters were paying them off. I'm assuming the NCAA proved he knew about that and that's why he got the ax from Tenner now.
