I am not totally melting down, just pissed off the loss was to a future B1G team.

I actually can't remember the last time that we beat a B1G team.

Rutgers - loss x2
Ohio State - Sugar Bowl loss
Wisconsin - Capital One Bowl loss
Minnesota - Music City Bowl loss
Michigan - Citrus Bowl loss

That takes us back to '98 against the B1G.

I've already turned on the Cardinals game and could really care less.

All the more reason to win this game.

I am chilling out, just wanted this win.

You and me both. The next five weeks are going to be tough without this win.

This game would have made 4

State would make 5

Then just one more win for bowl

After last season I was hoping for at least 6-6 - maybe I was reaching.

I was set at 6-6. There isn't a doubt in my mind that we would have won that game with Brandon Allen healthy. We were clearly the better team but just kept shooting ourselves in the foot over and over again.

I don't see anything out of State and Auburn that takes them out of the winnable column if we're healthy.

That still would only get us to 5 wins so we would need to get one from either Ole Miss, USCe or Florida. I don't see anyway that A&M, Alabama or LSU is winnable this year. They're all on a different level than the rest of the SEC.

The penalties were extremely disappointing. No discipline. We deserved every penalty we got. Just stupid shite. I expect better from a Bielema coached team.

Agreed but emotions take over and most purple rant before they calm down. I was mad but I'm good now. I see improvements and it's all I really wanted this year.

I don't think we were clearly the better team. They moved the ball. We didn't. We were in the game thanks to trick plays and turnovers.

I am so lucky. I had to leave while we were up 24-7. After I saw we blew the game I was so happy I didn't see the blow up. It's all just a bad dream right now.

It'll all be good Hogs. 2B's is still our guy. Stay the course

I predicted all along we couldn't win with Derby. He had moments where he did ok but even then it was usually a receiver making a play on the ball. i'm not sure why anyone would meltdown. We were a 6-6 team with our starting qb we certainly aren't that good without him. Overall i'm not sure the coaches are any more confident the freshmen could come in and win. Overall this game was lost because we couldn't control the game with both our offense and defense. Neither is good enough to win us a game in conference but together the styles blend well enough to give us a chance.

What did you see from Derby that suggested we could do anything else?

His accuracy was so off and especially throwing high I was actually surprised he didn't throw a pick.
