Austin has a much, much stronger arm and was considered the better HS QB.

Hasn't the party line always been that Austin is the better QB than Brandon?

I think folks sometimes forget that Austin was an Elite 11 QB since he's been a backup for 3 years and kind of forgotten.

I think AA has the top spot just by virtue of seniority and actual (but very limited) game experience. However, he should not be guaranteed anything, the others should be given legitimate shots to take the spot.

Unlike chikds, Wright and adams, Morgan doesn't curl up in an a fetal position every time he sees a red alabama jersey

Dust is about to get kicked up today.

Rev. can you send a buddy message upstairs so as to prevent any serious injuries and a Paul Rhoads miracle to seep down to the LBrs and lots of accurate passing and decision making during the QB competition and a fair shot given to the 3 guys starting behind Austin Allen in this race.

Could you also ask that kids start caring about receiving a 100 letters and start opening the mail please.

What he said. ^^^

Also Bielema is doing his spring kickoff press conference at 3:00 today. Should be some good info in there about what to expect the next few weeks.

Sorry, I'm a little late to the conversation but from watching them in person it was actually Brandon that seemed to have the stronger arm. I paid attention to them closely because I've always heard that Austin has the stronger arm but it didn't look like it. Brandon had much more zip, a tighter spiral, and less arm movement.

Cornelius Floyd and Josh Allen booted from the team by Bert due to academics.

Floyd can return in the summer, Allen's is indefinite.

Thank God it's not Jamario Bell.

These Florida kids gotta get w/ the program and go to class and give an effort.

For the most part the Randy Shannon recruits have returned jack on the investment and Allen was an academic reach coming in after he couldn't get into UNC. The staff knew that, guess Allen doesn't care too much. It's a problem when you recruit from small religious schools that use athletics as the base of their existence and a marketing tool. The academics aren't as regulated in most states.

Hope these two can get it together, they're still taking classes and enrolled. You'd think seeing what Randy Ramsey has went through would wake them up a bit.

I could be wrong but it sounded like Josh Allen was booted for something more or other than academics.

He might not be a draft pick but I can't name many WRs I'd take over Drew Morgan. Toughest SOB we've had in the WR room in a long time.
I'd take Joe Adams, Hamilton, Childs pre-injury, and Wright all before Morgan. Morgan is a rock-steady option, but he's not going to hit the home runs Childs/Adams/Hamilton/Wright did.
