i honestly can't justify hiring dykes over gundy. for any reason. neither play defense, but Dykes doesn't believe in it at all AND at least Gundy is know (recruiting)
Davis scares me b/c of worries of the NCAA being up our arse and then reaming us after he gets canned for whatever reason.

The thing with me is - I have a strong feeling that Gundy will produce mediocre results at Arkansas. Dykes, I believe, will produce at least mediocre results, and could possibly turn out to be an amazing hire.

Thought he was cleared by the NCAA?
ETA:
Davis has been the guy I've wanted for a while (assuming we couldn't get the big fish (Petersen/Patterson).
