So I've tried to come down off the ledge

But I still cannot get over how soft our fricking team is.
Bret is supposed to be physical and we look like Ole miss or TAMU the last 2 years. Can't run for shite. Can't stop the run for shite. Our line play is God fricking awful on both sides (this is supposed to be brets speciality which makes it worse )
As bad as this defense is, next year's defense will be worse. Our safety's are god awful. We lose our best corner. We have 0 DE's. We will have frick up beanum and some JUCO kid who's coach is a prick and fricked around sending his paper work so he would be ineligible this year. After that we will be using who ever we bring in this year.
We might move bell back but frick who knows. He has wasted a year honing his craft to be a 14th string TE behind a walk on and 2 soft as shite glorified fat WR'S. But by God we will rotate 18 DT'S. You won't be able to run it between the tackles on us. Too bad everyone now has a modern offense and runs speed sweeps so they are useless anyways.
Where the frick is this team headed? I'm not impressed with our current recruiting class. Our culture is gone. We are a passing team. Austin's senior year will be the story of the best QB in the sec having a Mississippi state caliber supporting cast. I'm pretty sure we lose more next year than we do this year. I knew that next year was a rebuilding year, but God we look like we are rebuilding on the lines right now and we lose Skipper and possibly Ragnow.
It may take us 2 years to not look like shite on defense and there is no telling where the offense will be.

I don't think Bret is perfect. He has his flaws. But I do think he's the man for the job.
I think Bert's biggest flaw is hs puts too much trust in his assistants. he's not a micro manager. I think some of his assistants have let him down.
I mean for fricks sakes, we're ranked half way through the year. Now if we lose to Ole Miss by 2 touchdowns i will personally rent Bert 2 u-haul's to haul his shite out saturday night, but i don't think the sky is falling.

I think Pulley will eventually be better than Collins, but yeah after him and Toliver next year there isn't much experience. Still don't know what Tutt can do.
I'm hoping they are just playing Agim at DT this year since we have so many senior DEs. Maybe Guidry can take over for him next year and he can slide out to end.

Bret's comments yesterday were interesting. Basically said that considering his background is as a defensive guy, that he's going to have to take a more active role in working with the defense if they don't show improvements.

tis my opinion that Strong will never be at Arkansas in any function. For reasons I totally understand.
Go back to Nutt, among others. Strong was not even considered because of some terrible things.
If I were Strong. I would go beck to Florida for good reason.

Yep. We've got a great DC coaching our secondary right now. Kick Robb Smith to the curb and give the keys of the defense to Rhoads before other teams come calling for him. I don't even think it should wait until the end of the season. Smith isn't even coaching a position group. Who knows what the frick he actually has been doing, but he sure as hell wasnt making our defense better.

Can't say I've ever considered him an Arkansas guy. I don't know if he's ever spoken about his feelings about Fayetteville and the school there.

i've said this before and kinda got brushed off as a troll but being an african american in arknasas.. litearlly, my entire family, who was all born and raised in little rock/ north little rock, moved out of the state and has never come back. all my friends in high school that went to college, left and never came back to the state. i got cousins that went to parkview thaqt now live in LA, i got cousins that went to JA fair that now live in Dallas and another in Alaska, Mike Jones who played at Arkansas lives in LA and plays overseas now (my first cousin), my two best friends who went to mills with me one lives in Atlanta and one lives in Dallas, my ex fiancee lives in Norfolk after going to Hall High, my dad who graduated from parkview lives in St Louis, my mom whog graduated from central and has a masters degree from UALR lives in San Francisco. People people really don't like Arkansas.

Strong isn't coming to Arkansas unless something drastic changes. Granted, I haven't talked to him in several months...
