Someone needs to go over there and remind those shorthorns that Toledo beat Iowa State, the team that is currently shutting them out!
My favorite days have always been when we win and they lose!
WPS!

Strong needs more time
I'm sure this was sarcasm, but if Texas were to give him more time to change the issue at large with their program, which he would do as he did at Louisville, Texas may finally live up to their potential on a yearly basis.
Instead they will likely fire him too soon and hire a spread coach putting themselves in the infinite loop of failure like Tennessee is currently in.

That would be glorious!

It's ShaggyTexas now. Their AD made them change it.

Tbh, almost all of high school football in Texas has gone to the spread/air raid system, one of the reasons every other college in Texas just about has gone to it, so them going to a spread system wouldn't be a terrible idea considering that's is the only system 90% of there potential recruits have ever played in.

It isn't like Mack wasn't getting the top rated Texas recruits his last years there and didn't switch to a spread offense.
Offense has continually been their problem for years now, the state has seen the best offensive players end up being low-rated guys who ended up outside of Austin who is above having to resort to that level of rated player in HS.
Like I said, infinite loop of failure...

Yea, I agree, but I'm not sure they'd allow Strong to succeed, even if they kept him. He seems to be a target for some boosters. If they'd just give him time, they'd love him.
