SEC tournament bracket

Possible rematch with Florida if we take care of business 1st round. Of course Florida will attempt to beat Vandy presumably. Should be a fun tournament!!

I like the fact that we snagged the three seed, because to the committee it communicates that we are the third best team in the SEC in the regular season, ahead of USCe. There's more prestige there than if we were a four.

I can't discern any difference in our chances to win the first game in either side of the bracket, and it would be an upset to beat Kentucky or Florida, with Kentuk being a slightly better match up for us, agreed.

I think the prestige of being the regular season three seed outweighs any perceived slight match up advantage, in a game we might not reach.

The crowd was good. I think the crowd for the Ole Miss game was better though. The refs let the kids play more that game which got the fans more into it. All of the ticky tack fouls called in the UGA game especially in the first half made it hard to get into it. The crowd really woke up though in the second late when the team made its surge.

Had the first half blasting on the golf course and could tell it would have been a tough one for them to get into. UGA was answering with some big 3s that were killing momentum.

Glad they turned up for Senior Day. If we build some momentum 2-3 years in a row and make the NCAA tourney back to back, I have no doubts the crowds and excitement will return. It simply hasn't happened since Heath when he was still riding Nolan attendance JuJu.
