I figure that Bielema and the rest of the coaches are up-front about what they expect from their players when they're out recruiting kids to play here.

Yup

But gaines was a Petrino recruit and Washington was a juco signed by Bert. Even with Bert being up front about what they expect from players here we're still on track to sign one of if not the best recruiting class star wise we've ever had.

I would like to sign a full class of 25. It hasn't happened since BB has been here. Maybe I'm wrong. Drunk as shite on a Saturday night, but i would like to sign 25.

It isn't going to happen this year either. Sign the max amount of players. 17 or so commits with less than two months left.

Agreed. I don't see it happening either unless we take some reaches.

I'm conflicted...

Not signing a full 25 every year when other conference schools are pulling 30 a class somehow is putting ourselves at a competitive disadvantage.

What's the difference in a 937 APR and 985 APR?

probably 3 wins.

Our conference mates are cut throat with their roster, sure if we have a low washout rate the spots aren't available to take full classes, but if we can upgrade talent and get academic risks onto someone else's rolls and/or get character risk guys off campus and into someone else's program where they can do what they want and still finish their eligibility so we don't get dinged on APR then do it.

I'd rather us walk the fine line on APR and take more recruits than pump up the APR at the cost of depth, talent, recruiting classes, and competition.
