To me it was like him saying "well, leaving, just not to Arkansas".

The question was specifically about Arkansas rumors. All he had to say was "I'm not going to Arkansas."
ETA: I still think it could be Gundy.

He could have, unless he was leaving options open.
Maybe I should have said "Leaving, just not sure it's to Arkansas."
Like I said, he left a lot to interpretation.
