I was embarrassed for our state and team listening to that gibberish. No X's and O's or strategy, just street ball bullshite. What an embarrassment.

I can never understand him during his games and he just repeats. LETS GO! GO FAST! YOU KNOW WHAT WE ABOUT TO DO?

That was discussion this morning. No actual coaching. No basketball. Just all about enthusiasm and energy. I had said I wanted to keep him to keep the upcoming recruiting classes together. That being said: f we can keep them together and get an actual coach who.... coaches. We might have something special.

I was a huge MA fan. I had such high hopes. I'm done.

I don't think they are allowed to rebroadcast x/o talk.

Same goes for NBA games when a certain player/coach is miked up.

Yep, you hear that kind of stuff on all the coaches they listen in on. Out of all the things to criticize MA about this should be at the bottom.

What the frick NBA coach do you listen to? Rick Carlisle does nothing but scream positioning and technique. When he's not doing that he's yelling out assignments and adjustments. You know, actual coaching.

Yeah, I see coaches get out the white board and start to draw stuff up as well as what you mentioned.

Nobody wanted MA to succeed more than I did. The facts are his teams run no offense at all...many Jr. High teams have more ball movement. Rebounding is apparently forbidden. We are so bad on the boards that a good HS team would outrebound us. I wish that was an exaggeration. Its not.

We talk big about or defense...but routinely leave good shooters wide open for 3 point shots, allow point guards to split the top and drive and...per the above...NEVER...I repeat...NEVER block out. North Dakota State made us look bad rebounding, most SEC teams will dominate us on the boards. Just look at the number of offensive rebounds MA's teams give up.

Most AAU coaches could do more with this team. It hurts me to type that, but my hope is gone. Perhaps the all time low for a Razorback fan after the 2nd half collapses in football and watching this pure garbage on the hallowed floor of BWA.

Yeah...I think we need to clean house in the basketball program. Those recruits aren't going to stick after we go .500 and miss the NIT anyway.

The recruits will stick around if MA is coach, and may with a different coach.

The incoming classes are mostly Arkansas kids/fans of the program and want to make it special again.

However, I am not a fan of what has been happening, although I am a fan of MA. But something has to change, and soon!

This might be the weirdest complaint I've seen on this board. You actually sound like someone out of the 1970s after the ABA/NBA merger. Of all the things to not like about MA, this is some dumb shite.

It's really not. A frequent complaint about MA is that he doesn't do a good job of adjusting, running set plays, or coaching XOs. When what you hear on mic'd up confirms thAt complaint, people are going to comment on it.

Ya'll may get your wish. They'll bring in an x and o guy who can also keep those classes intact without really having to recruit. Sounds good to me. Sounds tailor made. Hopefully the new group can make a run and actually recruit off reputation.

Pretty well said. Mike could be to the point where he's not catering to the fans anymore, though. If that's the case he needs to win.
