I tried to do this a couple years ago on the MSB and it just became a bitchfest about why not to do parlay bets.

I think there's 5-6 really strong plays this week. I'm putting a bill down, if it hits then I use the winnings to supply kegs and food for a throw down of a tailgate.

Only looking for a 4-6 bet play. Against the Spread or Over/Under. The pay outs on those range from 12-1 to 47-1. If anyone has a 10 team pick that hits with a 642-1 payout and I pay off my student loans, you can name my first born child.

I like those 2 as well.

You other 'mo's aren't getting it.

Y'all are to pick a couple games you feel the strongest about, we discuss, we come to a somewhat general consensus on which plays are the best to make, I'll enter a parlay bet w/ my $, if it pays off we party from the bet's winnings. If it doesn't pay off, I've at least got a story I can tell and use on my site through the next 3-4 months.

I'm OK with NFL, UFC, Women's Soccer, Int'l Soccer, well I'm good w/ any pick as long as there's coherent reasoning for it.

I really like Utah. I'm looking for them to blow Utah St. out. The Aggies had a tough time with a less than stellar Southern Utah FCS squad last week. Losing Andersen seems to have put that program in a downward trend.

2 TD's seems like an easy margin for this Utah team.

The luster of Mike London is wearing off, he's found it harder to recruit against VT, Maryland, and Penn St. than he thought it would be. There's a ton of talent in Virginia, not sure if the school will commit to football enough to really be a true player. The line has moved to -12.0 but can still be found a couple spots at -11.5. ND played Texas last week who somehow looks to have gotten worse. This game is in Charlottesville so I don't expect a 30 point ND win, but 14-17 seems pretty reasonable.

I'm not ready to jump on the Georgia bandwagon yet. These are the type of games that they play down to their opponent. Last year UGA won 44-17, year before, the last time in Nashville, Franklin's squad beat UGA 31-27.

The Vandy defense will be what they pride themselves on this year w/ Mason taking over DC duties. He'll do everything he can to put out a good D because he'll be looking for a DC job next year.

21 seems like a big spread for an unproven UGA QB on the road against an SEC team that didn't lose all their players when Franklin left. This game could go a similar way that the Arkansas game did. UGA gets up big then lets up and nearly gets caught. I see UGA winning by 17 or 20, just under the spread.

Give me reasons why you're confident in this game.

The Missouri / Ark St. line has gone down to +10.5 for State. Fox Sports projects a 30-25 win for Mizzou.

I think this is one of those lines where it seems too good to be true. Mauk has issues, there's information out that Mizzou is heading towards being a divided team. Like Bert said the other day, and the reason JoJo was suspended. Arkansas voted on team goals and the first was "no distractions". Often teams that are dealing with distractions put that focus together and play really well come gameday (like Illinois this past week).

I'm not sold on Mizzou not having a let down and being set up for a near upset. In the drama that is sports, the head writer would definitely write up an Arkansas St. upset bid at home to the defending SEC-East champ. I see Mizzou winning by 10 or getting beat. A 35 pt blowout could happen too, I guess it all depends on how well the woofs play.

A couple others that I like

LA Tech -1 @ WKU

Maryland -7.5 vs. Bowling Green

UNC Charlotte -7.5 vs. Presbyterian

Rutgers -2 vs. Washington St. (CAUTION)

Oklahoma pick em @ Tennessee

Marshall -3.5 @ Ohio

There's a ton of FCS games this week it limits the pool of games severely and doesn't do much to tell us what's what.

So the UGA line has come down from 21. I thought 21 was too high, looks like a bunch of others did too.

I'm not sure how to check but it appears money came in heavier on the Vandy side.

No bet this week. Something's glitchy on the site and my account hasn't been funded yet.

Good thing though because we would've crapped out w/ Utah last night.
