I think having a number next to their name might have helped to throw some of our guys off. They're pretty much THE school in Texas right now. TCU get's talked about. That quote about being surprised that Hayden wasn't in the game more. I've seen other quotes like that too. Definitely seems like he's in over his head and not able to manage things.

Seemed really odd to me as well. It seems he lets his coaches for the most part, coach and do the rotations. He stays out of it. That is not how a great coach works. They have thier fingers on everything.
It makes me feel like the Kurt Anderson hire is a total bust for sure then. I gave him a pass last year, because of what he had to work with outside of frank and skip. Now it seems for sure the shite o line is his baby. It is also partially Pittman mailing it in his last year.
Either Bert does not manage a fricking thing on game day besides when to go on 4th down or go for 2, or he has no idea wtf is going on. Hell it might be both. Dude is in over his head I guess.
