Have been trying to decide for the last month or so on how I wanted to extend my patio.

I've decided on screening in the existing patio and getting concrete poured about 15'x15' extending my patio into the backyard. Will later have rock/stone done for a fireplace and a grill.

Anyway, does anyone have any recent projects where you ordered a load of concrete and framers/leveling/finish crew?

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Why don't you just ask me how big my dick is and get it over with?

Bring your filming equipment from your employer if you need to take a video as a reminder so you'll stay off my sack. If you need some extra cash, I'll pay that $15 an hour you're trying to go on strike for at your second job.

Your going to need 3 yards of concrete, since your going to be at the minimum, you will probably pay around 100-110 per yard depending where you are located.

Most concrete are charging around .50-$1.00 a sq. foot to pour and finish, but you will also have form setting work. I'd say you'll be looking at around $800 anything under that will be a pretty good deal.

Here is a link for the last guy I used, it was a much larger project and he does really good work.

Thanks Pipe.

$800 or so isn't bad at all. I've set aside about $1500 just for the slab and labor cost. I may look at adding a bit more area to be poured and making the outdoor space a little larger.

I'll call your guy tomorrow

Or you could get a more decorative finish. His work looks good.
Thanks to Pipe for the recommendation. ArHog might know someone to do it or be able to do it himself.

Yea...I looked his site over really well and I liked the brick finish and the stained/wavy look.

Depends on the rock and how they prep. In the old days they washed the rock to remove dust before mixing (why you see concrete work from 100 years ago that still is in good shape) but not sure anybody does that any more. If your supplier is reputable, spend the extra and get the better rock and mix. Pennies now means less cost down the road if you plan on living there awhile.
